What Makes Us Different
The team at the Aviation Health Association is dedicated to supporting pilots in navigating the challenges they face in preserving their careers and reclaiming their medical certifications. With years of experience providing AeroMedical guidance to a vast number of pilots, we understand the vital role a compassionate resource plays for those dealing with disabling conditions. Many conditions that may disqualify pilots require ongoing testing at specific intervals. Without proper guidance on when these tests should be conducted, pilots risk being grounded for extended periods, sometimes up to a year or more, even after they have recovered, while awaiting the necessary tests to demonstrate stability to the FAA. Our assistance can make a significant difference in accessing treatment and medications. Upon request, our physicians frequently collaborate with airmen's doctors to develop effective treatment plans that safeguard the pilot's FAA medical certification in the future. We give our members a voice to the FAA.
Preventive Medical
Feel free to reach out via phone or email. Our medical team is here to assist both pilots and their healthcare providers in evaluating treatment options. With our expertise in FAA requirements, we can guide you on when to take action and how to prevent unnecessary grounding and certification delays. Unexpected health issues can arise at any time, and in such situations, who do you turn to? While we hope your visits to your FAA doctor and other medical professionals remain uneventful, if you ever find yourself unexpectedly grounded, the Aviation Health Association is here to help. Restoring pilots to flight status and supporting them in staying in the cockpit is our primary mission
FAA RE-CERTIFICATION
We can help ensure your voice is heard by the FAA. Receive discreet support from our team of doctors and nurses. We handle case submissions, expedite approvals, liaise with the FAA on behalf of pilots, manage appeals, and confidentially advocate for airmen.
